EMiLA
is a master's program provided by the five leading universities and schools of landscape architecture in Europe. This year, The EMiLA Summer School 2017 will take place at two locations: the city of Amsterdam and the Marker Wadden islands in the National Park "New Land". The Marker Wadden are men-made hills built on the bottom of the lake "Markermeer", which provide biotopes for animals and plants. With these islands as our laboratory, we wiil search our response to the question: "How can human development contribute to the sustainability of biodiversity including, but not limited to, the economic benefits?
